Then ricky is right. you really can't connect the wii mote to your cell phone. you can connect it to your computer though. Check out youtube and search for wiimote on computer

Some remotes, like the Wii Remote, doesn't actually require a passcode but Bluetooth will still ask you for it.

Sadly, the wiimote cannot connect to a cell phone. This actually happens because the cell phone needs a passcode. The wiimote does not need one. Your cell phone MIGHT be able to connect if you just leave the passcode field blank. However, your cellphone does not have the drivers to allow interface with the wiimote, so you really wouldn't be accomplishing much.

Its a pain in the ***. My last phone was able to connect via a stack app (bypasses bt key to connect) i have a samsung galaxy mote 3 and it will look for the remote stock. But will not connect due to a bt coding thing with 4.2 android. And some stack apps will not work with this device. So if you can decode mac code into a 6 digit passkey good luck.

And yes you can use a wii remote on a cell phone for games and app control. Stop being skeptical.
