Icarly Belly Rub

If you've ever seen two cats having a serious fight, they lay on their sides facing each other and use their back feet to "rabbit" kick their opponent's stomach. A cat's belly is very soft and vulnerable to serious, even fatal injury. This is why cats are instinctively highly protective of their bellies. If a cat sleeps on it's back or allows you to rub it's belly, it's paying you the ultimate compliment, by showing you it feels totally safe in your company. However, some cats are just more naturally trusting than others, so it's no reflection upon owners whose cats don't like their belly touched. Many cats seem to be sensitive in the spinal area or their back legs, and don't like being petted or scratched there.

I think it was just a funny thing the writers thought kids would get a kick out of and appearantly they do. Im assuming it was just a wack thing they thought of similar to things such as, random dancing, what am isitting on......
