You are stuck in a dungeon. The only way out is by going through one of two doors. One door leads to life and the other to certain death. There is a knight guarding each door. One of the knights always tells the truth, the other always tells lies. You are allowed only one question to ask to one of the knights. What is that question? (The question must decide which door is the one that leads to life while also deciding which guard always lies or tells the truth) Good luck!

ask either "which door would the other knight tell me to take" and take the opposite
the liar will lie and tell you to take the wrong door
the truthful knight will answer with the wrong door as well because that's what the liar would answer
My dad has been giving me this riddle since I was like six, haha.
You could...
Ask either of the guards "If I had asked the other guard which door was the correct door, which door would he have pointed to?" They will both give the same answer (indicating the wrong door). If you're talking to the guard that tells the truth, he will (truthfully) indicate the door that the other guard would have steered you towards — which would be the wrong door, as the other guard always lies. But if you're talking to the guard that always lies, then he would still point to the wrong door, as while the other guard (the truth-teller) would have indicated the correct door, the guard you're speaking to is lying to you about what he would have said! So either way, the answer to your question will be the wrong door — and so, either way, you simply use the other door.
Ask guard A - "Would he (guard B) tell me that this door leads to life?
Whatever A answers is a lie.
The trick is not to find out which one is lying and which one is telling the truth but to find out how to get them both to give the same sort of answer. If you ask one guard Would he tell me this door leads to the life? Whatever answer they give you is the opposite of the truth. You're either asking a truthful person what a liar would say (So you get a lie answer, you're truthfully told what the liar would say.). Or you ask a liar what the truthful person would say (so get the lie answer because that's who you're talking to, lie by default).
