I've tried downloading a lot of maps

( individually) and I've watched/read a lot if videos/websites on how to download minecraft adventure maps on the PS3. I even had a ps3 user explain how. I've tried everything.

•Download the map

•extract the files (or whatever it's called)

•save it on a USB in files called PS3 then that other file (I forgot the name)

•plug USB into PS3 then go to this file where the saved game data is.

•Go to USB (or whatever u called it)

•Copy

Then it should be where your saved game data are.

(Then go on your minecraft menu and the world should be there...)

But after all that it doesn't appear on my minecraft menu even though its saved in the saved data file.

(Sorry if it's not detailed)

But yeah I've done everything else and followed the instructions carefully but it won't appear on my menu screen where all your worlds are...

Is it because my ps3 might be old?

Or

I may be doing something wrong (even though I've tried many times really carefully)

I'm using one of those mini laptops could that be it?

Do you need a proper laptop?

I've even downloaded a software that most users use to extract files?

Can someone please help because me and my little brother have been trying to download these for a really long time, but it never worked. We would love to play maps that other people have created.
