How long does it take for a GCSE exam to be remarked?
I had just got my result for my Maths GCSE, and I was 1 mark away from getting an A -___-
Anyway my teacher told me straight away mine is going to be remarked and she said the marks cannot go down, it can only stay the same or go up. I was wondering how long will it take to be remarked.

It depends on the exam board, Edexcel normally take 1-4 days, AQA take 7-14 days.
However, your teacher is WRONG, the marks can go down and sometimes do, though if you are only 1 mark off an A it is highly unlikely to go down far enough to change the grade to a C. If you are having a re-mark your school should have got you to sign a declaration saying that you understand that the marks may go down as well as up..
