Ok, now this question may sound dumb, but I promise you, I'm in the top 10% of my class and I have straight A's, I'm not stupid. I've just noticed lately that I'm not as pretty as usual, and not that thats a big deal, but I was wondering if there was any scientific evidence that people are less attractive in the winter. In my area we've still been seeing lots of sun so I'm not really getting pale, but my face just looks different in a bad way. Please no rude answers, I'm really just curious.

I've never seen any studies or anything about looking ugly in the Winter. How exactly do you think you look ugly? Is your skin dry? Do you have blotches or patchiness? This could be due to the cold weather or rain. Or are your actual features changing like your nose, cheeks and eyes? This COULD be very serious. There was a story about a woman who noticed physical changes in her face and it ended up being some kind of decease and tumor. Not trying to scare you just thought I'd throw that out there! I'm sure that's not your situation. Try using moisturizers to keep your skin healthy, moiturized, and glowy during this harsh winter weather. Try to cut down on the makeup whenever you can. I'm sure you are just feeling this way it isn't really true. Confidence can effect the way you see yourself. But I bet you are gorgeous hun. Keep your head up high good luck!!
I find that my skin always gets super dry in the winter. Even if you don't notice it make sure to moisturize daily (I do it in the morning before I put on makeup, always with SPF, and at night after I wash my face). It will help!! And drink lots of water at night.
It's not making you uglier it's just making you paler and people are usually more attractive when their skin has color so you're not getting uglier just loosing that sun-kissed skin that everyone adores.
