Hi, I'm 14, I like girls and really want a girlfriend. The thing is I have a little bit of a tummy. (it's genetic, everyone in the family has it) You can't really see it under my clothes but I'm talking about in the futures when i'm adult and do start having sex. I have to obviously show my stomach when your.... naked and .... having sex. (uncomfortable) I'm not fat or anyting, just have the thickness and curves. But everytime I see these pictures of these cute leabian couples, there all so skinny. Like all of them! :( Lucky. Are all girls like this? I'm afraid girl won't like me because of how my body is made. I try all the time to lose the tummy but it just won't leave! I've even stoped eating for a while and just drank water but it still won't leave! All I want is to find someone that'll love me as much as I love them in the future. Thanks.

Girl, pictures of anybody you find online are going to be skinny. Our society is so screwed up that we are fed so many images of super skinny people we think that being super skinny is what we have to be to be happy. Sure, it'd be great, but I'm perfectly fine being a lesbian with some chub. Image search for regular couples and chances are, they'll be skinny too. The right girl won't care about how you look, it's what's inside that matters.
Yeah, that's really cheesy sounding. But it's true. I tried dieting once as well, to lose some fat, but honestly? If a girl won't date you because you're not a stick, she's not worth dating.

Hey, chill. You are entirely too young to worry about that. Have you ever considered it's a side effect of puberty? And if it bothers you to the point where you won't eat, try this. Eat good, healthy foods, lots of fresh veggies and fruits, and take up a sport. It could be taking a walk every day, or soccer, or any number of other things. Just stay active.
And trust me, not all lesbians are hot and skinny. I've met some that, while they have a wonderful personality and were sexy in their own right, were very masculine. I'm sure once you mature, I'm sure you'll be very sexy, but I feel pretty uncomfortable passing judgement on how hot a fourteen year old girls.
Don't stop eating, that's not healthy.
I'm not a lesbian but of all the lesbians I know personally, a fair amount of them are curvier/thicker. Just like the rest of the population.
Learn to be comfortable with yourself, the way you are. That's the most attractive trait in a person.
(Most lesbians I've seen in my area are actually really obese... and they CAN help it.)
You really have nothing to worry about. However, don't starve yourself as that won't actually make you lose weight. It really is about eating healthy and proper exercise.
Appearance is somewhat important, but personality is what stands out. You could be 200 pounds and still be fabulous.
a person would accept you no matter how you looked if they loved you. but you're only 14, it's not too late to start and try to eat healthy and live a healthy life and even exercise. I'll tell you know it's easier to lose weight when you're 14 than later in life.
