Hi,
I am looking to suprise my girlfriend and fly her from Luton to a destination in the UK. As she has never flown before she does not have a passport. Can she fly with her Provisional Drivers License? Also does anybody know of any cheap airlines that will allow her to fly with just this form of identification?
Many Thanks

Hi, I actually work with London Luton Airport and if your girlfriend has a provisional drivers license then she'll need to make sure that she also brings the paper counterpart of the license along with the plastic card on the day of travel. As mentioned, Easyjet fles to several locations in Scotland and Northern Ireland and this form of ID will be accepted at check-in. You can find more info here: https://www.easyjet.com/EN/News/20040628_01.html. Hope this helps and I hope you and your girlfriend have a great trip!

Contrary to what you have been told Ryanair don't accept driving licences as ID, nor do they fly to any of your named destinations from Luton.
Edinburg deserves a while of your daily life to learn it and this is the place to start hotelbye . One of the areas where you may have a fantastic outing with all the family may be the Edinburgh Zoo. This zoo is the house to around 1,000 fantastic creatures, such as the UK's only big pandas. The Zoo is situated in lovely parkland options and involves wonderful flamingos, sweet koalas and cheeky chimpanzees. Edinburg is not just any city; Edinburg is the city to spend your loved ones holyday, a holyday that will never be forgotten.
i think of you may wish a pilot's licence...or are you making plans on basically being a passenger? if so, an selection photograph id is great. My complete using licence (pink plastic area) become great for Luton to Newcastle. the internet internet site of your provider will checklist what's suitable even in spite of the indisputable fact that so examine in the previous you bypass.
I believe you will have a problem with this idea. Their is a World Wide anti terrorism Law in force which prohibits anyone from boarding a flight, either long haul, short haul or domestic, without a valid passport. An ID is fine for passing through customs, but is not sufficient to allow you to fly.
Hello,
A provisional (photocard licence) will be fine - for these places your best bet would be to try Ryanair or Easyjet - at least one of them has flights to your places.
