Yesterday I started a new job as a Bank Teller and I haven't worked in a while. I was on my feet all day in about 1 1/2 inch heels. I bought some flat shoes today, but standing all day yesterday made my legs and feet hurt. But it's not the normal kind of pain. It feels almost as if my blood is really thick and it's not pumping through my veins. My legs are not swollen or discolored, but it hurts even when I'm not putting any pressure on them.
I know of possibilities of blood clots and such, but as I'm only 18, I think that's very unlikely.
Is there anything I can do to relieve this pain? I already tried a hot shower but it persists.

it just sounds like normal aches. you said your self that you have not worked in a while, you legs just need to get used to supporting your wieght all day.
i also suggest not to where tight fitting trousers, tights, socks, underwear, let the blood flow just to start off with while your muscles get used to it!
Lay down and elevate your feet above your head. I'm a nurse, I get this problem too. You will want some good shoes. Get some walking shoes. I like EasySpirits.
