Short term memory loss after exercise-Tony Little Rock 'n Roll Stepper?

My mother is in 50's and is going through menopause. She bought Tony Little Rock 'n Roll Stepper in January 2008. After some break from using Rock 'n Roll Stepper, she resumed the exercise a few weeks ago.

Aside from some menopausal symptoms, she is otherwise very healthy. No heart problems, no high blood pressure, nothing.

When she first used it in January, there was no problem at all.

But a problem started two days ago when she resumed her exercise. I got a little scared when she called me after her exercise and told me that she could not remember anything she had done earlier that day. She could not even remember she had a part-time job and the location of her office.

She was confused for about 30-60 minutes until she felt normal. It seems only her short term memory was affected, although I do not know why she could not remember her work.

She did not feel dizzy or anything, she said.

I advised her to go see a doctor, but I wonder what is causing this. Was this caused by the motion of the exercise? Lack of oxygen to her brain? Or she got too hot?

Anyone with similar experience, I would like to hear from you.

Thank you.
