I have heard olongapo city is good but is it the easiest and closest to get to? I will be there for a week but don't want to spend to much time traveling around.

NORTH:
1. Subic. There are beach resorts inside SBMA, the former American military base that has since been converted into a rest & recreation facility. There are also beach resorts/hotel in Subic town, outside of SBMA.
2. Montemar becah Resort in Bagac, bataan
3. So many small beach resorts in Mariveles, bataan, particularly in Barangay Alas-asin
4. If you have a friend who is a member, the best will be Anvaya Club, also in bataan
SOUTH
1. The nearest "good enough" beaches are in Tanza and Naic towns in Cavite. At least 20 of them dotting the shore.
2. The better beach places in Cavite are those in Ternate. There is puerto Azul and Caylabne, both high-end. Near this resorts is a community beach managed by the Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA).
3. Batangas has plenty : Nasugbu, where maybe another 20 small resorts are found. Matabangkay which has several beach resorts. Also the Laiya beach area in San Juan, now easily the most populat beach destination in Batangas.
