I sprained my wrist a little over 2 weeks ago in gym. I was playing a game and feel on it when I was trying to brace my fall. I went to the ER and they told me it didn't look like I fractured it but that it was badly sprained and would take 2 weeks to heal. They gave me a soft cast to wear for 2 weeks. It has now been 2 weeks and 3 days and my wrist still hurts. It feels as though one of my joints is still badly bruised, but what the hell do i know? I have full mobility of it, but i can't put a lot of pressure on it if that makes sense. What should I do? Should I go to an orthopedist?

The pain should usually go away after about 2 weeks but you would have had to rest it, but still move it and also ice it so if you didn't do that maybe it takes more time
it can take about 3 months for a sprained wrist to fully heal so it will be just like before.. It depends how compliant you are to your treatment. Worst thing that can happen is that symptoms can become a lot more worse especially when you keep it immobilised at all times. If you experience weakness due to poor early management, you will need roughly about 3 months to get it back to normal.
It Could Be That There Is A Small Infection Between The Bones Of Your Wrist. If This Is The Case You Will Have To Immobilize Your Wrist For About 3 Weeks More. I Had The Same Problem, and Did not Immobilize My Wrist. My Wrist Healed, but i still get relapses. Go See Your Doctor About This
