I think I would just leave it alone. Baking powder does have baking soda in it. You could also add about 1/2 the amount of baking soda originally called for in the recipe.

I would probably go ahead and add the soda also because it helps the pie be fluffy and I dont think it would hurt a thing.Without it I think your pie will be pretty flat

No, they aren't. You'll have a fluffier pie than you meant to, but 1/4 tsp isn't going to be fatal. Use the soda, too.

Baking powder does have baking soda in it... it's a little milder. I'd add another 1/4 of baking powder and leave it at that. It'll be fine.

Baking powder contains baking soda, along with an activator, such as cream of tartar.
You recipe probably has an activator also. I wouldn't worry about it.

Just add 1/2 the soda and see what happens. You might have invented something new and better.
