I can see perfectly fine but sometimes I have a lazy eye, usually when I am tired and my eyes want a rest, I can usually tell when my eye goes lazy and I can align my eyes to be strait. I do own pair of glasses and they do work but I was wondering if contact lenses are the same. Will they fix my lazy eye problem???
Any ideas guys??
Ps; I really dont want lazer eye surgery lol

Why does everyone [still] mix up the term 'lazy' eye with strabismus??? Any member of the optical industry/profession should do their best to eraticate this confusion!!!.
Lazy eye means... no matter what we do that eye, it can't see as clear as a normal eye!!!... Strabismus/turned eye is [only] ONE possible CAUSE of a lazy eye.
Lazy eye DOES NOT = turned eye!!!
Now... to the answer...
If you can see perfectly fine with each eye (with or without glasses), then you DO NOT have a lazy eye.
What you have (is very common) and is either EXOPHORIA, or ESOPHORIA. It means that when you 'rest', your eyes like to 'return' to it's natural default position, which for you is either DIVERGENT (Exo) or CONVERGENT (Eso). [You haven't told us which one]
If you can easily align your eyes to be straight, then it's more likely that you have Exophoria (eyes pointing apart at rest) as we have an ability to tell our eyes to move inwards to be straight.
It's harder (and often requires exercise) for people with ESOPHORIA (eyes crossed at rest) to move their eyes apart as there are less to no nerve pathways for this.
We only treat these PHORIAS if they become problems for you: eg uncontrolled DOUBLE VISION or constant Head-aches, and it's usually done with glasses, but contacts can be used if your eyes CROSS due to [if you have] high hyperopia (long-sightedness) or unlinked accommodation (focusing your eyes back and forwards) and convergence.
Now, everyone... continue to wipe this confusion of what is a lazy eye... please!!!

Do contact lenses stop people from being cross eyed?

There are several methods to improve quickly and naturally eye sight... To know how to do that you can find here a compelte method based on researches done by some scientist, for a cheap price:
http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=413
I can give you just some tips but I suggest to give a look to the method that i posted above...for example you can take more food that contains vitamin A such as carrots may help to naturally improve your eye sight. We can also always do exercises. There are exercises such as rolling your eyeball to form an invisible square that are always recommended by the doctors to improve one's eyesight. I don't know about quickly as there is no fast way to reach one's goal.
Vegetarians can help to improve one's eye sight. I believe it because I am a vegetarian and my eye short-sightedness power remains the same without any increase after about 2 years. The doctor was shocked because teenagers at my years will usually have a most increase since we are always watching TV, playing computers and also reading. I do not know whether it is totally true or not but it does affect a bit on the result.
Anyway i suggest to check the link that i posted :) It worked for me
Hope it helps.
Most people believe that once they are diagnosed with some vision problem and start wearing eye glasses or contact lenses to correct them, they will have to do so for life in order to see better. Those who want a permanent solution to improve eyesight typically resort to Lasik or other corrective eye surgeries. But you you can also improve your vision without surgery and can see perfectly well without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can check here to know how https://tr.im/73ed3
Sorry, but nothing will permanently fix your lazy eye, except surgery and that does not work 100% of the time. If you only have lazy eye "sometimes" I doubt any eye doc would preform the surgery anyway.
Contacts can work well with certain kinds of strabismus (crossed eyes), making it less noticeable. But contacts can also make some kinds of strabismus more noticeable. You need to talk to your eye specialist to find out what your best options are.
It would be so nice if you would pick a best answer to your question. I do often wonder if Questioners actually even bother to read the answers to their questions, since so few pick a best answer or will even break a tie. Happy Holidays!
If your glasses help keep your eyes straight, you probably have accommodative esotropia. Contact lenses will definitely help if this is the case. LASIK is less likely to work in this situation.
I don't trust laser surgery. I'm trying to improve my vision naturally with simple eye exercises. This is the method I'm following http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=413
Very useful program!
Cheers.
